See How opens "We Only Got Tonight" with a delayed synth pattern that pulls forward on its own momentum, no drums yet, just that looping pulse dragging you in before anything else arrives. Patient. Almost uncomfortably so.

The voice sits deep in reverb, breathy and high, phrases dissolving into the space around them. Mid-track, a held note slips in and the tone thins at the edges, that slight fragility cutting through the mix in a way the whole song seems to be building toward without announcing it.

When the drums finally land, everything locks, but the dreamy, late-night quality the opening carved out never disappears. Amusing Ourselves To Death has range, and this track shows it. I found it interesting when the track looped back on itself rather than escalating... just drawing you further under with every pass.
