Brandon Watson's "Watch Me Work" opens with a syncopated bassline and a chanted hook that pulled me in before I even knew what hit me. That "watch me work" call-and-response... it locks in fast. The synths and handclaps layer up around it and suddenly you're already moving.

Then the chorus explodes.

Watson's voice shifts from this cool, relaxed groove in the verses to a full-on belt at 0:40 that feels like a fist in the air. It doesn't ease into it. It just goes, and that lift in his delivery right at that moment is the best thing on the track.

The production is clean and tight, with a low-end punch that rattles through the whole run-time. When the song drops back into that chant section around 0:58, it resets you just long enough before the chorus comes roaring back and floors you all over again. Smart move.

This is a pop anthem built to make you feel like you can do something. I've had it on repeat all morning and I'm nowhere near done with it.
