Veve C's new single "LOW" pulled me onto a dance floor I didn't know I was standing near.

Shawn Navi's production is stripped right back. Deep bass, sharp claps, and then... nothing. Just space. That gap between the hits is where the whole thing lives and breathes, and it moves because of what's missing, not what's there.

Veve C's voice rides the claps like she mapped them herself, bouncing on every hit before dropping into the low end with this controlled, weighted pull that makes the hook feel like you already knew it. Second chorus, you're mouthing the words without realizing it.

And then the hook lands again. You're done.

New Lewi's Caribbean influence runs through the production like warmth through concrete. It doesn't soften the rhythm at all. Veve C said she wanted to bring back the feeling of a time when music made everyone want to get up and dance, and "LOW" delivers on that. Straight up.
