The mid-to-high register vocals utilize a slightly breathy tone in the verses before shifting into a soaring, emotional delivery in the choruses soaked in spacious reverb. Then 02:41 hits. The bridge strips the main beat entirely, leaving only a bare vocal melody exposed before a heavy chorus re-entry.
The artist noted, "I’m so gonna release music this year," and this cut proves it. Originally written for university assignments, the Briefs EP explores joy, sadness, calm, and adventure across an array of unlinked songs. "Running Out of Time" stands out as a focal point. Urgent.
