Gubbe's "What Could Possibly Go Wrong" hooked me fast. The bass locks with the drums from the jump and just doesn't let go, driving the whole track forward with a tight, almost cocky momentum that had me reaching for the replay button before the first minute was even out.
The guitar has that classic garage-rock grit, a little rough around the edges, sitting right in the mix without swallowing everything else. And the vocals… the spoken-sung delivery in that low, dry baritone register is so direct it almost feels like someone leaning across a table, telling you about a bad decision they do not regret even slightly.
The whole thing sounds like a room full of people actually enjoying themselves, which tracks because it was.

You can. There's a looseness here that feels earned, not accidental. Songwriter Bent Olav Olsen built something that doesn't try to be slick, and every time that bass rattles back in after the chorus, I feel it.
