The Restless Few's self-titled single comes out swinging. The bass sets the tone immediately, thick and punchy, locked in from second one and driving the whole thing forward like it has somewhere urgent to be.

Those opening "Oh-oh" group chants hit like a crowd already warmed up. Festival energy, right there in the intro. The track builds through a verse that stays measured and melodic before the pre-chorus tightens everything up… and at 0:48 it just opens.

Pure momentum.

The chorus is a rapid-fire run of lyrics delivered with breathless, almost frantic urgency, the lead vocals carrying a gritty, passionate edge like the guy singing has been waiting a long time to say all of this out loud. The dense wall-of-sound production during the chorus is the kind of thing that rewards a good pair of headphones.

Synth arpeggios and atmospheric pads layer underneath the distorted guitar and drums without muddying a thing. Polished mix, but it keeps its muscle. The lyrical theme, outcasts and collective defiance, lands harder because the sound backs every word of it. I've had this on repeat all week.
