"Final Score" is the fifth and final single from Brian Hunsaker's upcoming EP Where Dreamers Fall, and it earns that position.

The track opens with acoustic guitar and bass building real cinematic tension as the electric guitar blends in. Then it detonates... distorted riffs, Mats Eriksson's rapid double-kick patterns, no warning, no easing in. Just impact.

Hunsaker's vocal range is the spine of this thing. Verses are raspy and rhythmic, aggressive in a way that never feels performative. When the chorus comes in, he shifts into clean, high-register territory, harmonies widening everything out to the anthemic rock sound we love. Sergio Ortega's guitar work is relentless throughout... technically demanding, fast, and given real space during a mid-song solo that justifies every second it takes. Diego Palma's keys and Clif Chambliss's bass hold the bottom end firm.

The breakdown is another terrific decision on the track. Everything drops and the acoustic guitar and quiet vocals are back. Then it rebuilds slowly before the final guitar lead cuts off without resolution.

The track is a descent into the madness of war. It captures that feeling of being trapped in an inescapable cycle, where the end is always looming. It concludes with a cold realization—that even if you 'win,' the cost is absolute. It’s about the heavy silence that remains when the dust finally settles.

That abrupt ending isn't a flaw. It's the whole point.
