There's something worth paying attention to when a release almost doesn't exist. Bleach Dreamer, the self-contained solo project where one person handles every stage from songwriting through final mix, spent months believing the entire recording session for Girl's Night was gone. The two songs that came back from that near-disappearance are "Hits Me Like a Thunder" and "Hold On," and together they form a release that feels like it genuinely earned its way into the world.

Girl's Night is a two-track digital single built around the collaboration between Bleach Dreamer's production and vocalist Niki Grossi. Bleach Dreamer's sound pulls from '80s club culture, dream pop, darkwave, and Hi-NRG, treating those reference points not as costumes but as working materials.

"Hits Me Like a Thunder" is the more immediate of the two, built around the sensation of unexpected attraction. The energy is direct, the production warm and propulsive, and Grossi's performance leans into that charge without overplaying it. "Niki brought those feelings to life through her performance, and only afterwards did I realize the songs naturally complemented each other. It wasn't planned, they simply belonged together."

"Hold On" is where the release settles into something more considered. The production gives the song room to breathe, and Grossi navigates the emotional weight with real control, knowing when restraint is doing more work than volume would.

Two songs is a small canvas, but Bleach Dreamer fills it with intention, and "Hold On" in particular has the kind of staying power that makes the release worth your time.
