AzeriahVII's debut single "I'm Obsessed With You" opens with his vocal as the very first sound, landing immediately on the line "I'm obsessed with you" before the bass crashes in, heavy, locked-in, and impossible to ignore. That low-end rolls underneath everything from there, steady and insistent, pulling the whole track into this dark nocturnal mood. Whispered, close, almost spoken directly into your ear, the delivery sits deep in register and is soaked in reverb, so the whole thing feels less like a performance and more like a confession. Mid-track, the voice pulls back to nearly nothing and the bass just holds the room alone... I replayed that moment three times before moving on.

What's wild is how the production holds two opposing feelings without flinching. The low-end is physical, gritty, rattling your chest. The synth pads floating above it are airy and loose. Nothing fights for the center.

Nico Dovan's guitar arrangement weaves through without ever crowding the groove, orbiting that bassline like everything else does.

For a debut. This is a serious statement.
